Production Blog: We Finally Started!!

Once again we did not go with the plan...

Last blog I mentioned us filming on Saturday or Sunday but unfortunately that's not going to work. Saturday we are all busy, we all have plans so we left it for Sunday. However, on Sunday Harley worked 7-10:30, Omnia worked 4-9, and I worked 2-9. We knew before hand that we all worked but we thought that because Harley worked in the morning and us in the afternoon we would have have time between shifts to film at least the small scenes. BUT we did not think we would have about 3 hours. It would still be less though because Harley would pick up Omnia after work which would take ab 40 mins to get her and meet up. By the time we would meet up I would've had to leave in 30 minutes to make it on time to work. And we needed all three of us since two of us will be in the film and one of us would film. We also need one of our friends to join in some of the scenes. We will be doing that this week hopefully.

Enough with the excuses let me tell you what we have done so far. Today we filmed after school. We went to Harley's house since it's the closest to school and would be the best time saving idea. We did the scenes where the two girls are texting each other. This part was so hard to film because we wanted the room completely dark and for the message to just pop up. We had to close the blinds, shut the door, and tell everyone else in the house to keep quiet. Also we kept trying to move the camera with whoever was acting because we thought we gave the audience more of an experience while watching the movie. However, in one the shots we filmed I fell... We were just walking and tripped on something on the floor and then the camera person ALSO fell with me. It was so funny we couldn't stop laughing for ten minutes. But at the end of the day we filmed all of the scenes needed that occurred in that room.

Stay tuned though, because we have plans to film again on Monday. So fingers crossed.
