Production Blog: Trust the process

 Soooo it's been a while... 

My group has been a little backed up due to so many things happening all at once. If you remember our planning blogs included our desired schedule on how this film was going to go. According to that plan we should be finishing the last edits today.... we haven't started filming. I know this a very unprofessional moment but we just have so much going on with our jobs, school, even personal lives. We all have important things happening. Even if we are just teenagers we still have our own worries. For example, me, a senior, has to worry about colleges and getting everything set before graduation, however, I still want to have fun and have the senior experience. My other two team members are juniors, one of the most stressful years of high school, they are worrying about their grades for college and SAT testing which is taking place next week. Basically we have been very occupied with our lives but we spoke today and came up with a new plan. We are planning on filming this week. To make it easier we are thinking of Saturday or Monday since there is no school due to President's day. Depending on the weather on Saturday we will decide. However, we do know the first scenes we will film will be at one of our houses because most of our scenes are in the same room, so we will just need to bring out changes so that the film comes together. After we can film the following day or weekend. For editing we will start the day of or after our first day of filming so we know how long or fast we need to take for the next scenes. Basically we will be multitasking but even if we had more time we would've done the same. Because while we do both at the same time we can understand the idea of our film a lot more. Having a base for what we are doing makes the process a lot easier and quicker. I know this may be disappointing but trust we are going to film soonnnn.
