Production Blog: 2nd Day Streakkk!

You won't believe it... WE FILMED AGAIN.  We did plan on doing it next Mondya but we were all free today so we just decided to film. This time we went to my house to film the ending of our film but we still have more to do. So so far we have filmed the beginning and end but we need to film the shots at the store and coffee shop for fillers in our film. It also ties everthing together because it's when the audience begins to realize that the main character hasn't been doing the thing we have seen. That everything is in her head. But we couldn't do that today since I had to be home soon. Sooo we decided today would be perfect to film the realization the the actor has been in a psych ward this whole time. We decided to use my room because my room is white and grey with a twin bed. The stuff that make my room look less like a psych ward room is easy to move away so that the setting matches our idea. But we did need to get creative with how we filmed this scene because I have artificial leaves on the wall which isn't that good for our setting. So we tried different methods which we will later see which fits the best when editing. My bed is laid on the side wall and the door is across from it. So we tried person's back facing the door, so in the shot you can see the door and person. But we had the camera person get on the bed and film at an angle so you wouldn't see the wall with leaves. Then we trie the other way where you can't see the door so we just had to film a jump cut between the person a door. Over all we filmed each shot in 3 different forms because of the decorations in my room. Later in editing we will figure out which shot fits best for the movie. But as of now we are about halfway done with filming. But we do need to look them over just in case we have to film something over again. And we will try to film tomorrow once again. All I'm saying is we are starting a streak. Trust we will get it done.
