Production Blog: Lockdown...

If you remember from my previous blog I mentioned today after school we would begin filming. But we had a little inconvenience. During school we had a lockdown, due to a threat to the school. At the time I went to the bathroom when it was announced that there was a lockdown. Funny part is i was walking into the bathroom when it happened, there was another girl in there. We both ran out and went to our classrooms, we knocked on the door and no one answered. It makes sense that what our teachers were trained to do. But I still had to knock on a few doors, then I saw a security guard and told her the issue. She ran upstairs to where I was an opened a random room before I went in I saw the girl from earlier. So she ran and got in the room with me, I told her we should go to the back. So we went into a closet, locked the door, turned the lights off, and stayed quiet. We were in there alone for a little more than two hours. At one point the police came in when they found us they just said to sit still and wait. That was the scariest thing ever, I thought about so many things. Like why would the police be here searching for something or someone. Eventually, like and hour later, we got out of the closet and called the office once we were on code clear but secured. They sent security to take us to our classes. And that where I write this from.

My group decided it would be best to postpone our filming to another day due to the events of the day. Our parents especially want us home. We are all pretty tired and feel that recording on the streets near the school wouldn't be a good idea for the day. So we will eventually film later this week, like originally planned. But for today, sadly, no filming updates. Until then, bye for now.
