Production Blog: Filming

 We finished filming!! On October 6th we went to the beach after school to film the commercial. Before going we went to Publix and bought some Cokes. The worst part was we couldn't find a parking spot. We were looking for a good 10 min, but at last we found one. When we actually got to the beach I began to film the first and second scene, which both was just me. I took 3 takes of each scene to make sure I got one we liked. The next scene was me walking up to someone on the floor asking if they were okay. This scene and the next 2 were harder than usually, it took us more than 3 takes and half of those can't be used. In these scenes both of us were in it so one of our friends had to take it, in this case his friend took it. I didn't know him and I am a very awkward person, so mostly the acting was the problem not the angle or anything. Plus we were a bit rushed for the last two or three scenes because my partner had to go home. That wasn't the only problem we had. We bought the glass bottles for the commercial for the aesthetic, but forgot to bring a bottle opener. The last scene was a back shot of us sitting in the sand as we drank the cokes. But we couldn't drink it since we couldn't open it so we tried to hide it with our hands. The shot didn't come out too bad plus it was a pretty simple shot, and we took a few takes just in case. When I edit it I am going to have to go through a bunch of videos. Although its not that long I don't have time this weekend, as mentioned before I have something planned for my friends birthday and i just wont have the time sit down and look over them. So I will begin to edit next week after school.
