Production Blog: Planning

 Our ideas for the commercial are final. We know exactly what we want to do, where, and when. We can't film today because I went out yesterday with some friends and my mom wont let me out again today. So the best option is to film tomorrow since there is no school or the weekend. Even though most people are doing it on the weekend I can't, I just don't have time. This weekend I am celebrating my best friends birthday. I planned a surprise for Saturday at night and Sunday in the morning. I also have to go to a few family dinners for her. So I just wouldn't have time to go to the beach to film what we want. That only leaves tomorrow. Which I have spoken to my partner and we have agreed on doing it tomorrow. Later on tonight after school I will speak to him to figure out what time and the exact beach we are doing it at. Most likely we will meet up there or maybe he can pick me up. He has his own car and I have friends with cars that will most likely take me. I will figure all of this out tonight. As for editing I can honestly do any day since I am at home or have my computer. I have an app on my computer for editing because I would love to make videos and edit them for myself. Most of them were dumb, but I am so glad I was interested in that which will make editing for this so much easier. I used to edit videos that were like an hour or two long, and some how I enjoyed it. So more than likely I will enjoy editing this commercial.

Production Blog: History repeats itself

 So my other group members realized that their portions are not adding up in the film. So we are filming again. However, we are changing the story a bit because our main character works a lot. And compared to the camera person and me (the best friend) our schedules add up more. So we will add more filler scenes of the best friends to make up for the time we can't have the main character. As of today though my other group member and I went to film at barnes and nobles for the cafe scene. We changed it to just me meeting up with the main character but getting stood up so I texted her, called her, waited for her, etc. This will continue the confusion and waste time in our film. This took us a few tries because I kept getting nervous but we got it done. Also, last year I filmed my music video from AS level at barnes and nobles and now here I am again.
